Apart from being a catchy title? I’ve been through a lot, kid. I’ve done a lot of things I’m not proud of, been people I don’t particularly like. I’m not the same person I was a year ago, and I’m still not sure who I am exactly, but I’m going to find out. I have to find out.
A veil is a bit of fabric that covers and is cast over something (usually the head), inquiry is the process of eliminating doubt. In that sense: I have been cast under a veil of inquiry. It’s kind of corny, I guess, but I thought it sounded pretty clever when I set up this new account.
